A group of around 20 Belgian high-ranking policy-makers, opinion leaders, NGO representatives, and other key stakeholders discussed together and explored how the EU can better serve the interests of its member states and citizens. The meeting started with a presentation by Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Belgium, which was followed by a discussion with the members of the group.

Three key policy challenges have been given a special focus: the migration/refugee crisis, internal and external security, as well as economic and social challenges.
