On Thursday 1 September, the Institute of Public Affairs (ISP) organised a public debate in Warsaw called "European Union. Reorganization. How to reinvent the EU?" with the participation of Danuta Hübner, Chair of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs of the European Parliament; Marek Cichocki, research director of the Natolin European Centre; and Janis Emmanouilidis, director of studies at the European Policy Centre (EPC).

On the next day, a group of around 20 Polish high-ranking policy-makers, opinion leaders, NGO representatives, and other key stakeholders discussed together and explored how the EU can better serve the interests of its member states and citizens. Three key policy challenges have been given a special focus: the migration/refugee crisis, internal and external security, as well as economic and social challenges.
