Meeting with Donald Tusk, President of the European Council

On 24 January 2018, Herman Van Rompuy and Janis A. Emmanouilidis met the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk to present and discuss the New Pact for Europe Report "Re-energising Europe: A package deal for the EU27".
President Tusk welcomed the report and its proposal, declaring:
"Only a wise reflection can re-energise Europe. I am confident that the NPE initiative will greatly contribute to this."
