Anne-Sophie Parent

Secretary General, AGE Platform Europe

Anne-Sophie Parent is Secretary General of AGE Platform Europe, a EU network representing directly 30 million people aged 50+ across the EU-27 which she has been leading since 2002. AGE aims to voice and promote the interests of the 150 million inhabitants aged 50+ in the European Union.

Ms. Parent sits on various advisory committees set up by the European Commission (European Pensions Forum, e-Inclusion programme, European Health Policy Forum,member of the Advisory Board of Assisted Ambient Living Joint Programme, More Years Better Lives Joint programme, Dialogue Group on Insurance, Financial Services Users Group (2011-2013), Steering Group of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing).

She is also a member of the Euro Retail Payment Board set up by the European Central Bank, the Advisory Group of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN-ECE) Generations and Gender Programme and on the Advisory Board of the World Demographic and Ageing Forum.
